I have no passion for or against guns. I own 3 but don't have a license to carry. But these wackos are going to screw up the right to carry if they continue taking guns in restaurants. They kinda funny looking too. That fat boy would be an easy target if someone inside didn't know what was up. Be hard to miss him.

Would they know they had to leave if a Chipotle asked them to?

If I post pics of the average feminist will that help with my campaign to repeal the 19th amendment?

Surely they will post a notice outside. My employer does. Can't even leave them in car in parking lot.

Your employer might not be able to enforce this from a legal standpoint.

Asking armed robbers to leave sounds like a totally effective strategy.

Unfortunately, we are having issues with this where I live. Some guy got busted carrying in the mall and it's created an uproar from legal gun owners.

I had a plethora of high powered guns until my boating accident, however, even if I still had them, doing certain things because it is your right doesn't mean you should. It's almost as if they want to get arrested to have grounds for some lawsuit. Hell, I carry all the time without a permit, you would never know. Why parade around saying implicitly, "Look, I'm carrying a gun!" Carrying shouldn't be an issue, it becomes one though when people have to act like this.

Big boy in the pic could carry a .357 in one of his belly rolls and we'd never be the wiser.

Its legal in Texas.

quote:

Private property owners may exclude license holders from carrying concealed handguns on their property by providing notice as provided in Section 30.06, Texas Penal Code. If you wish to prohibit license holders from carrying concealed handguns on your property, §30.06, Texas Penal Code requires you to post specific signage. The sign must be in both English and Spanish, must include the specific language described by law, must appear in contrasting colors with block letters at least one inch in height and be displayed in a conspicuous manner clearly visible to the public.

Nope. Go higher than that. Try the Supreme Court.

Exactly. Their little show is backfiring badly.

I don't see anything about storing weapons in one's vehicle.

You're talking about something that hasn't happened. Until there is a decision to rule the law unconstitutional by SCOTUS, it is a bonafide law. The Texas Constitution gives the legislature power to regulate firearms. For sure those 2 yokels aren't going to put up a legal challenge.

The other poster was talking about your company's effort to ban you from keeping a gun in your vehicle.

Your vehicle is the important distinction.

Again, I don't see where the excerpt posted above says anything about storing weapons in one's vehicle.

Having a weapon in a vehicle is not the same as concealed carry.

They probably think people will perceive them as badasses. Instead they look like a couple of try-hard douches.
