I was watching them discuss the selection process and they made it sound like the Superdome being outdated may have hurt them

Are these the same folks who think we let all of our best players go in free agency?

No. Minny used the same "new state of the art" argument against Indy.

So now that we arent getting the Super Bowl I guess we can kiss the plans to get some video screens installed out the window.

not only new screens, but a state of the art complex right next to the Saints' facility to support USA Football. It would have included 4 fields and offices, and would be used to teach coaches proper tackling techniques, training regimens, etc.

A new stadium in the Arctic won over the best host city on its 300th bday, an owner that will probably never get another opportunity to see the game hosted in his city, and a state of the art facility to focus on football safety.

In the year 2014 it shouldn't take a Super Bowl to get modern scoreboards. We are talking about the most powerful sports league in the world, where almost every franchise has valuations in excess of a billion fricking dollars. There is no excuse for not having modern scoreboards and enough bathrooms to piss in without Joe Saints Fan's pissing dick 12 inches from Mike Saints Fan's About-to-Piss-his-pants' waiting dick.

Get our shite together, New Orleans.

As much as I like the dome, it's reaching the point where new stadium avenues must be explored. I think the superdome has reached critical mass in terms of being able to be renovated/upgraded. More space is needed in the concourses, better plumbing and ingress/egress to the stadium. A lot of the "fixtures" just seem to be dated.

if NO ever got a new stadium would y'all want a retractable roof or just open aired stadium like the Jets/Giants have?

New Orleans has zero use for an open aired stadium.

They put close to a billion into the dome in the last 10 years. There is absolutely nothing wrong with as someone who has been to a good bit of other stadiums in the nfl

I would sell every day game ticket if it was open aired. That heat at 12 in September, no thanks
