TV is on mute, and no matter what the guy said I was easily able to interpret everything he was trying to say because of all the fancy graphics on the TV.

Also, I would guess that most Americans utilize weather apps on their smart phones real-time versus waiting till the 10 o'clock news to figure out what the weather forecast is.

Does anyone else expect a news weatherman to not be in existence in the next few years?

Depressing shite.

Another man was killed today...

Store got robbed...

Mother killed her kids...

And by the way, Mrs. Joan Cleaver won yard of the month.

Now on to our next story about 2 girls killed in a car accident.

Why? If anything of note happens, I can watch/read about it on the internet. And I don't have to waste my time watching 30 minutes of news a day with hard hitting news pieces on people thinking hand scanners for school lunch are the mark of the devil, and the sulphur police investigating someone detonating tannernite.

Put your tv on the Saturday today show and see if you think Dylan Dryer's job ought to be in jeopardy.

Yeah, but I wonder what the numbers will look like once people in their 30s are the oldest generation?

If that was my news anchor, I'd watch on mute.

sounds kinda crazy, but local news apparently gets some of the highest tv ratings of the day...just notice the amount of commercials that are played if you don't believe it...and weather is typically last, since it is the most popular segment...

Some day you will be old, and you will watch your weather person every morning and every night. Technology will not change this.
