For context, know that the national collegiate record is 9.89 seconds, set in 2011. This year, only five 100m times have clocked below 10 seconds at all, wind-assisted races included. And here's your list of the fastest wind-assisted performances of all time:

9.68 +4.1 Tyson Gay
9.69A +5.7 Obadele Thompson
9.72 +2.1 Asafa Powell
9.75 +3.4 Tyson Gay
9.75 +2.6 Asafa Powell
9.75 +4.3 Darvis Patton
9.76A +6.1 Churandy Martina
9.76 +2.2 Tyson Gay
9.77 +2.1 Usain Bolt
9.78 +5.2 Carl Lewis

4 guys went under 10 seconds in one Big 12 race. Meanwhile one guy goes under 10 in the Shangahi Diamond League Maybe the track surface has something to do with it.

The wind was ridiculous, and the meet was at Texas tech, which receives altitude adjustments on all performances. There were a number of outlier performances there this weekend, in addition to this one. Pretty much every women's sprint race.
