Come at me War on Drugs fans

This album has barely left my cd player in many many weeks

The lead singer Sam Herring is the best thing to happen to shitty indie music in a long time

I fricking hate the two songs I've heard from this album.

Do not want.

I love Seasons and a few of the other tracks are pretty good, but I would easily take Lost in a Dream over it.

I dunno, I enjoy Lost in a Dream, but it's more of a critical appreciation for it being a good album and good music. It's one of those indie albums (like most of them for me tbh) that I listen to a couple of times, I think it's really good, and then never bother listening to it again

I can't stop listening to Singles. I enjoy that shite more almost every time I put it on.

It reminds me of music when it wasn't all posturing about how cool and detached you were from everything, but you actually put some real emotion on display. When music was actually good outside of just a superficial level like it is today.

I don't mind "not getting" something. It's just not for me. His voice infuriates me to no end. There isn't much rhyme or reason to it. Just the way I feel.

Really?

That's by far the best part of the whole thing

I saw them on one of the late night shows last week. I honestly thought they were a joke, the performance was terrible. Can't imagine someone actually enjoying listening to that.

I dunno, I agree though. It's different. Like for once someone actually sounds a little different in indie music. He's like a bizzaro Bryan Ferry. It's awesome.

He reminds me of James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem and the lead singer from the Hold Steady.

I can name tons and tons of guys and gals with "different" voices that make music (indie or otherwise) that I adore.

His voice just doesn't do it for me. Again, there isn't really much rhyme or reason to my opinion.

Just, like, a feeling... Man.

I'm a big fan of this one: A Song for our Grandfathers (I wish they had the album version of it on youtube. It's way better)

Listening now, will see what's up

ETA: The sound is Meh, just sounds like a dude sitting at one of those keyboards that keeps the beat for you and he can't really sing that well

This music is just a little too hipster for me. It's not bad, but it's not something that grabs me. Just kind of boring.
