But, no seriously, I will be.

SCH...any spots you can recommend in Munich for USA/Germany? Will be arriving at hotel near Marienplatz about an hour or so before the game, so close to there would be ideal.

Thought about Augustiner am Dom or somewhere like that...

yes o yes

avoid the hofbrauhaus its a tourist trap

There are lots of bars right in that area where the train gets off downtown. If you walk about a mile away from there so many bars along this strip heading towards some neighborhoods. If you see a casino you are heading the right way.

Yeah, Hofbrauhaus may be a good spot for a Japan game. Avoiding that like the plague.

May hit Andechser am Dom too, but heading to the monastery on Sunday so can try those brews then.

Primary goal in Munich is to consume as much Augustiner as humanly possible.

I might be in Ireland or somewhere in the UK during some of the knockout rounds. Just going to look around for a pub for the games. Should not be too hard.

Most likely place to find other Americans, but it'll be a shite show of a million people. You'll be lucky to get inside.

Temple bar man. My favorite city in the world next to Prague.

Reykjavik is also great. There's a pretty nice English pub on the Main Street (super expensive) down there. I forget the name but my dad and I got 2 Irish coffees and they were about 32$ each.
