Heading to Toledo to night fish during the McDonald's tournament.

Wanted to go to IC but my buddy is determined to go all the way there for a 1 night trip...
Night fishing isnt bad it's just daylight has thousands of boats on the water.
Here goes nothing!

24 bass, 14 keepers. Wind kicked our arse.
Caught the fish on purple speed worms.
Had to move them extremely slow since all the boats spooked the fish.
Fish were surprisingly close to the banks.

That's not a bad night. We caught a pile of fish over the weekend, just no weighers in he tourney. Had a lot of funny though!

I fished there this weekend. There were eleventybillion boats out there and the wind was terrible. Only caught a few fish Sunday morning. I think the last I checked on the tournament was Saturday and someone caught one that was 11 lbs.

I noticed on Friday that a lot of 5 lbers were in the money. I was pretty surprised.

I hope to be headed that way Fri. Gonna try and find some bream and catfish for the kids. May try to bass a little to.

They were killing the bream at Lanan's landing. About 20 feet on the west side.
Also hit tons of them in floating grass in United Bay.

My dad was one of the five finalists in the drawing for the boat, but he didn't get it. He did get a rod and reel, though.

Yes, with weigh ins every hour. Top 5-10/hour get paid out too.

Appreciate guys. I knew about the hourly payouts but not the winning payout. I am going to try and fish it next year.
