What if Rohan Davey wouldn't have blown his knee out before the '00 season?

Do we feel that UAB, UF, Arkansas or AU would've been different that year?

Rohan to Reed was a nightmare for everybody not wearing purple and gold so by that fact alone I would say there would have been a difference

Rohan Davey is probably my favorite LSU QB that's not Mett or Flynn

Rohan admittedly didn't take things serious until 2000. He thought he was the most talented and deserved the job and didn't work for it.

When did he blow his knee out? He played in the first 3 games and the 5th. Got hurt in the 6th and wasn't needed again until the bowl.

Cedric Donaldson, Rohan Davey, Robert Royal, Jacob Hester, Jarvis Landry, Kendall Cleveland, Matt Flynn, Kevin Faulk, and Bradie James.

Those are TheCaterpillar's faves from my lifetime in no particular order if anyone was curious (I'm 26).

I don't believe there's been an LSU QB, in my lifetime, that I had more confidence in than Rohan.

Auburn, 1999 when Rphan went 4/11 with two pics was a perfect example of how the light just didn't come on until later.

He didn't exactly blow it out, but he tore his ACL in February and battled it pretty much all year before surgery.

He also had an ankle injury that plagued him as well throughout 2000. 2001 he was healthy and focused and tore shite up.

I still don't understand how Josh Reed wasn't more seriously considered a Heisman candidate.

Had LSU been a legit title contender that season he would have been. It sucks but that's just the way it works most of the time.

I blame this wholly on DiNardo.

Saban wins NCs.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Rohan started the week after UAB in the overtime game against Tennessee. Got the start because Booty had called his own play at the end if the UAB game and pissed Saban off. So its not like we didn't have Rohan for UAB

Yes, he got his shot after Booty blew the UAB game. I don't think Ro was going to beat out Booty in 2000 anyway. Booty was decent, but Ro was special. He didn't blow out his knee, btw. He took cheap shots from Tennessee and busted it up though. That gave Booty a 6 game stretch and he performed. If Ro doesn't get hurt, that team probably wins 1 more game, but not anything like an NC.
