We have dance recitals this saturday so I am looking for suggestions on good eats within walking distance of the River Center. Casual and family oriented would be best. Thanks for any help in advance...

Lucy's or Poor Boy Lloyd's is my suggestion. Don't go to Lucy's after dark. Schlitz and Giggles if you're into that kind of thing.

My advice is stay away from Lucy's food. I've eaten at the downtown br location about 5 times and every time its been terrible. Overcooked, undercooked, slow, not what I ordered, and bland.

For family and casual fare, I second Poor Boy Lloyd's.

If you weren't looking for family atmosphere, I'd say IPO.

Capital City Grill - it isn't great, but it's way better than Lucy's.
