So long story short I have had the same Saints hat since the 06 season and it was in terrible shape from frequent wear, sun, sweat, dirt, fishing, spills, etc. totally beyond cleaning, but I just don't buy hats regularly. My easily embarrassed wife had been riding my arse to get rid of it and didn't like being seen out with me when wearing it, so I went to Dick's (BR) and they had a good bit of Saints stuff way discounted.

This was my old one, which had been relocated to the trash:

Here is what I picked up today:

Was $8.97, Im not in love with it but for the price it'll work. I have been really disappointed in options for Saints hats since New Era took over, as I like fitted hats but refuse to rock a flat bill.

They also had this hat today for $10.97 and I would have snagged it but didn't have my size:

Your results may vary but they still had a decent amount of stuff when I looked yesterday (hats, shirts, polos) but just FYI they don't show clearance pricing on the website.

I'm debating these two for my next hat purchase and will buy one or both then hopefully not buy anymore hats till 2021ish:

Just thought some people may be interested in having some gear for a steal.

Eta: I did buy a supper bowl hat that was like the one given to players @ the game, but never wear it as the crown sits way too high for my head

I hear ya. Im really not a fan of the selection that we are stuck with since new era and nike have nfl now.
I'm really not psyched about the one I bought, just because the logo is too damn big, but was happy that I got it for less than $9.

Eta: just came across these two that are '47 brand which I have never tried. Can anyone comment on that brand/fit?

This

The others would be too expensive if they were free.

But, that's a personal taste thing. Van Los Santos!

47 Brand seems to run a little small. Just get a size over whatever you usually wear.

This is basically the only hats I wear. Franchise FTW.

I hate that New Era keeps getting more gaudy and ugly with their releases. I haven't bought any New Era NFL stuff outside of two visors.

Care to elaborate or anything? I ask because the hats that I posted cover quite a variety of layouts, brands, colors, and design elements. So is this comment to express that you just hate hats in general?

I'm just curious as to your opinion because to say they all look terrible is somewhat conflicting...

Is this better?

This is my problem. Seeing all the neon, snakeskin, bedazzled, flat bill snapback bull shite that they put out to cash in on certain demographics makes me start to think that these

Don't look all that terrible

It makes me miss the simpler style late year reebok hats ie:

I'm happy I found that 47 brand stuff though online as I hadn't seen it in stores and really like it

The first 2 hats are fricking terrible. Too much.

Now, the latter 3 look good. Traditional. Simple. Mature.

yea I like both. I can't tell without seeing it first hand if its more white or a really light yellow/gold shade.

A lot of online stores have both color still available. May just end up getting both yellow and Anita

I also only wear 47 brand. Their hats are low crown, and the front of the hat is not stiff and conforms to your head. I can't wear fitted hats like the new era style because it makes me look like Elmer fuddish. Anyways, hope that helps.
