It was dumb IMO. Now the best 3 players in NOLA NBA history have played for 3 different teams in 16 or so total years of basketball.

There is a lot of hate for CPS who we got several players for, and a lot of love for David West who left in FA and we got nothing for him. Plus him leaving helped cement Paul's exit.

he didn't force a trade.
we had no owner and he wasn't too happy with how we dealt with things the last couple of years.
he came off an injury and I don't think we tried hard to retain him.
that's why we don't hate him as much

Well its dumb. No loyalty. he chose to leave the team as much as paul and with even less of a pay off.
If you are a star apparently there is no right way to leave a team, it you are someone else we cheer for you when you leave.
Not to mention D. West leaving was a reason Chris Paul left. We couldn't keep talent around him.

The Spurs have been flopping like european soccer players for as long as I can remember. Not to mention they ended the best run we had in new orleans basketball history. They are dirty players. They are the patriots of basketball complete with their no personality leader.
