One of 2 films during the past 30 years that produced both the Best Actor winner and the Best Actress winner. One was a drama; the other a comedy.

The drama one was easy. I thought they'd both get that.

I had no idea this was a comedy.

I also thought the drama was "Walk the Line"

Silence of the Lambs is one of only two or three movies to "sweep" the Oscars. It won best actor, actress, director, and picture. I remember that being a big deal at the time so that's how I knew that one.

It's sad because I knew the comedy right away.

Seems like that'd be a pretty easy one for guys like Jennings and Rutter.

As Good As It Gets popped immediately into my head. Silence of the Lambs took me a little to think of.

The Silence of the Lambs was not a true sweep. The so-called "Royal Flush" of the Oscars would be wins for Screenplay, Supporting Actress, Supporting Actor, Lead Actress, Lead Actor, Director, and Picture. This has never happened and likely never will.

I was dumbfounded that Ken couldn't even come up with a guess. And for someone who lives in Hollywood and wants to be an actor, Brad sure seems to have a poor fund of knowledge in general concerning the video arts. At least it seems like he routinely misses questions I expect him to get on the basis of his desire to be an actor.

I was not impressed with the game today. Poor Roger had it going and then missed a pretty easy question on his Daily Double, which would have been a gamechanger.

For the drama, I guessed To Kill a Mockingbird. I probably should have guessed Silence of the Lambs though. I never would have guessed the comedy, and I would have never expected As Good as it Gets to be the answer though.

Just watched it on DVR and first one I thought of was As Good as it Gets. Can't believe I didn't think of SOtL though.

Felt bad for Roger. The nerd wanted to be cool and let ken and brad influence him
