Looking to get a gate that goes across my driveway with electric opener. Looks like iron but I assume made of aluminum? Anyway, any companies the OB can recommend? I live in Central.

There's a place not far from your work, I'm drawing a blank on the name right now.

Mine is actually iron or some steel. Definately not aluminum.

Electric gate company supplied it, not sure where it came from.

I'd be sure it's powder coated and not just painted. About to have mine sandblasted and powder coated.

Gate openers:

You can order them through tractor supply for the cheapest prices. I am going to do it at my house soon. I am going to install it, trench and lay power out to it, and let the electrician check over everything and finish hooking it up

You can also get them with a solar panel if it is too far from your house to run power

How did this work out? Installing Mighty Mule 200 gate opener at my house tomorrow. Probably going with solar panel charger for battery as 110v elec will be a pain to deliver (not trenching under driveway).

Anybody got a mighty mule opener??

I know a guy. I'll send him a text in the morning. He owes me a favor.

If I'm cashing in my favor, what exactly do you do for a living? For a hobby? You have any landscaping skills?

I have the number of some Hondurans if you need landscaping work done. They have done stuff on and off for me and my family for years...
