shite storm sure to follow.

quote:

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Some residents of a predominantly white New Hampshire town are upset with racist remarks a police commissioner made about President Barack Obama.

Resident Jane O'Toole said she overheard Wolfeboro Police Commissioner Robert Copeland use a racial slur in describing Obama. And in an email to her, Copeland, who is white, acknowledged using the N-word in referring to the president and said he will not apologize.

"I believe I did use the 'N' word in reference to the current occupant of the Whitehouse," Copeland said in an excerpt from an email he sent to his fellow police commissioners acknowledging his remark and then forwarded to O'Toole. "For this, I do not apologize — he meets and exceeds my criteria for such."

Copeland also wrote: "While I believe the problems associated with minorities in this country are momentous, I am not phobic."

Copeland is one of three members of the police commission, which hires, fires and disciplines officers and sets their salaries. Copeland, 82, ran unopposed for re-election to the commission and secured another three-year term on March 11.

What the guy said was wrong, but this tattle tale society where people are being caught in private settings and having privates thoughts and words exposed is a little troubling, especially when done to advance an agenda. Is it so far fetched to think magic Johnson may have put that skank up to baiting sterling into making those comments?
Where do we draw the line? Is there such a thing as privacy?

Not suited for work on the police force. He should have been a rapper.

I think Sterling was in his home. The intolerant don't care where you are. Free speech is dead.

Perhaps you don't mind having busybodies eavesdrop on your conversation at the table.

Me? I'd have a big problem with it.

What?

Is the only reason you don't call A.A.'s n-words is because of PC?

This reminds me of the time when my mom took my 80 year old granny to the doctor in Montgomery. My granny said loud as hell in the waiting room "Look at all these n_'s having little n_ babies!". My mom freaked and left. I loved my granny but she was racist as hell.

Perhaps he was loud. I hear other people in public all the time. It doesn't take eavesdropping.
