Has Paul Dano ever played a character that you didn't want to hit in the face?

I don't know... I kind of wanted to punch him when he had that smug look on his face at the end of the movie.

IMO, the two most punchable faces in the business.

I probably would have given that dude the same exact treatment that Plainview did

He went to my high school.

His character in the senior play should have been punched in the face too

Different people. The brother at the beginning of the movie was alright. The other brother was the one who got it.

His character is There Will Be Blood was pure evil.

He can play a creepy, evil, psychotic character like no one's business.

Yes, the bowling pin treatment is appropriate.

Daniel Plainview was not a sympathetic figure, but who didn't find the way he dealt with the reverend at the end as some kind of justice?

Great movie, by the way.

Did anyone else cheer when Wolverine was beating the crap out of him in Prisoners?

I think it was a Lifetime movie where he played a single teenage father

Not even hit-just slap the sh#t out of. Seems more fitting. To the point: Briefly at the end of Little Miss Sunshine when they were all trolling the Pageant, but that was after his meltdown, when I wanted to slap him worse than ever.

What was he like in HS? Cool guy, nerdy? Would you ever imagined he'd be a big time actor? I can't decide if I like him or not but he can definitely act.

If there was an enjoyable moment in 12 Years A Slave, it was undoubtedly when Solomon laid down some upper class arse whooping on Tibeats' cracker arse.
