Making the move

from BR to Houston next month. Looking for advice from any Houston OTer's on good apartments to live in around the Heights area/midtown, or any area really.
Everyone I have spoken to has discouraged living in a suburb, becasue it is so far away from bars, restaurant, etc. I'm in my mid 20's and will be living with my fiance, so not really a need to go out and snag poon. Nightlife isn't really my main concern, but it would be nice to be around all the events in downtown.

To add to your post, since I wouldn't have to start another thread....
I may have an opportunity in Mont Belvieu in a few months........
Anyone have experience out there? Looks like it's growing out there at a pretty rapid pace.
