Interesting. I liked them playing it on-site and I saw on the r/cfb page some Pac 12ers worrying about attendance issues if the blue bloods don't make it in. Nice venue to host, though.
Oh, and as always, SIAP.

The first NFL game will be held Sunday, Aug. 17 when the Broncos play the 49ers in the preseason. Levi's Stadium has its initial regular-season game in Week 2, Sunday, Sept. 14 when the Bears arrive for a prime-time game. The City of Santa Clara asked that the 49ers not host any weekday games in the first year of the stadium. A percentage of the parking spaces that will be used on game days belong to nearby businesses, which ostensibly will be occupied on weekdays. The 49ers will host the Seahawks on Thanksgiving when, of course, those private parking spaces will be available.
The Pac-12 championship will not be the only college game at the new stadium. Cal will host Oregon on Oct. 24, a Friday night game. The championship game also will be on Friday, although the time has not yet been announced. The 49ers have their bye the week of the Cal game; they are on the road for two straight weeks following the Pac-12 championship.
The Pac-12 has been the only major conferences without a neutral site. The SEC plays its championship game in Atlanta, the ACC in Charlotte, and the Big Ten in Indianapolis.

At least the fans there will have WiFi to check on a real conference

Why would they play in that shitty erector set?

Attendance will be bad. Oregon has a big alumni base there though.

Geography and playing the game at 5pm local on a Friday are working against getting people to actually show up for the game.

If Oregon doesn't win the North, it will. Stanford's fanbase is a joke. I'm guessing Washington might bring fans too, idk.

If it were like Arizona and WAZZU, it would be laughable. Don't put it past Rich Rod and Leach to get there eventually too.

The home field setup is the only viable way to have a title game is such a spread out conference with apathetic fanbases. This wont go well.

It is ugly as sin from the outside.
Looks really good from inside, and it will be the most technologically advanced NFL stadium.

Please don't consider his opinion as part of the 49er fanbase.

I agree. I think the ACC should switch to that model as well.
How is the Big Ten doing? It seems like Indy is a good geographical fit. Are they getting people to the game?

Looked good to me on tv but they also have done of the best traveling fan bases in college football like the sec. PAC 12 and ACC fans are more alike while big 10 and sec are more similar when talking travel IMO

I think the Wisconsin(should have been OSU)/Nebraska game was not great, but the other two were big hits from what I've heard.

Big Ten is doing fine. All fanbases (minus a few) are going to bring fans and it's not such a huge area. If Rutgers and Northwestern made it, you might see some attendance problems. But as long as the better programs keep making it, it'll be fine. If Delaney tries to move it to New York, then it might be a problem.

if Vegas ever gets that new stadium together they should permanently have the thing out there.
Thats a location I think would do well regardless of who is playing b/c people (A) can make a better argument for the quick trip to Vegas than they can random Cali cities and (B) would probably do well with locals and other random visitors.
