Anyone have input on one of these scams?

Go sit through a two hour sales pitch from a real estate developer and get a set of golf clubs(Callaway,) and an iPad mini. I've always ignored these offers, and have no interest in this one, it just looks like it's going to be a nice weekend, and I've been thinking about looking for some new sticks.

High pressure sales, just keep saying no, if you say yes you lose. Say no, get free clubs, and Ipad. 2 hrs will turn into 5, bring a snack. They will hit you with all the tricks, don't fall for it.
Last one I sat through was for $200 (broke and in college) I told the guy straight up, I'm broke, I came here for the free shite.

Is it a tour of a resort? It won't be two hours. It'll be at least double that.
Usually bait and switch. You'll get free gifts, but odds are they will have "run out" of the original gifts and offer substitutes, like a $50 set of clubs.

Exactly. And you'll leave angry and empty handed.

20 years ago my brother and his wife were to get the free TV. Before they knew it they signed for timeshare in a Fla condo. It took him a month to have that negated.
