Is there such a thing as a good tikka masala sauce in a jar?

If so, where do I get it?
I'm well aware that anything jarred is going to be frowned upon by the F&D board but figured I'd ask anyway.

This
plus a good helping of this:
That Shan spicing is pretty great stuff. I keep a pantry full of several varieties. That Pataks sauce is a good, easy base.

Any idea if either is available in Baton Rouge?
Edited to add: Found the Patak website and it looks their products are carried at the Albertsons on Airline.

Yes. I used to get the Pataks at Albertsons and I'd get the spice at Barakat at the corner of Florida and Wooddale.
And when I say a good bit of that spice, I mean a tablespoon or so. Not like half the bag. You'd burn your insides off with half the bag. Add in small portions until you reach your desired level.

I had a good one from Rouse's (jar), but the best I have had is the one from Costco.
not jarred, the whole meal pre-made and frozen.
But it's very good quality.

I didn't really care for the Pataks when I got it. It was a little too sweet with no heat at all.

I've seen it at Rouses
Me too. IMO the international aisle at Rouses is better than any other groceries in Nola...including Whole Foods.

That's why I add the additional powder. I've tried all the different jarred versions at the store. Most are way too heavy on the five spice. The Pataks is the most basic and can easily be manipulated.

Depends on what you are looking to buy. If I'm looking for jelly fish heads then Hong Kong market is the place.

I'm just referring to main grocery stores, not including international markets.
