What do you have? Do you cringe when you pump gas?

I'm sorta car shopping and some that I'm looking at gets 15-20mpg/city.

No. I'm not poor. Unless I literally pumped gas into my truck, then yes I would cringe.

My DD truck gets 17mpg highway. I don't cringe, it's just the cost of owning a truck. Upgrading to something that gets 23 mpg only nets me a little over $1k/year. Gas doesn't cost as much as people think it does.

I drive a Wrangler… Luckily, I don't have to drive too far (or at all) on a daily basis, so I only fill up once every two weeks usually.

I don't usually worry about MPG, none of my 3 vehicles gets over 18, but I looked at a Ford Raptor last weekend. It gets 9 in the city and a whopping 12 on the highway. That made me stop and think.

Gmc Sierra averages about 17. It's paid for so doesn't make sense for me to get a new one.
