I do love GoT, but the pace at which some of the stuff happens takes forever.

It's been 4 years and Dany is still not to Westeros. I'm tired of even seeing her scenes. Waste of time/Same ole shite.

Honestly, the show is lacking a bit without Robb Stark. IMO of course. I don't see why RR Martin kept Theon in the story line and killed of Robb. Would have been more exciting.

Can we be done with the Theon/Ramsey thing? Not too interesting. Same with the Stannis/Red lady shite. I don't really care. Whatever big thing it leads to, let's get down to it.

This past episode was around 50 minutes and there wasn't a scene with Jon Snow nor the Hound/Arya.

To take this long to lead up to a trial for Tyrian and then have a shortened episode and no conclusion was pretty annoying. Yes, incredible acting by Peter and he'll win an Emmy. But the previews show Oberyn and Mountain fighting and with as long as it takes to build on something, we already know the context with which it happens. And everyone knows exactly what's going to happen-they're not going to kill off Oberyn and Tyrian.

I wish the seasons were longer. I'm just a little frustrated with it. I was bored this past episode.

Not much has happened this season. Joffrey is dead, but to be honest it was kind of a letdown how it happened. It just seems like a theme is that nothing happens, the season doesn't last long and then you're waiting another year.

Gave you an upvote because I agreed with every thing you said... except that the trial was definitely not boring.

No, it wasn't boring at all-probably one of the best parts of this season...it just isn't over and it should have had a conclusion.

I agree... I would hate for HBO to make a habit of resorting to that tacky, familiar cliffhanger device used in lesser shows... such as "Lost In Space".

jesus christ dude, have some patience. GOT is the only show where people constantly bitch and whine about slowly-developing plot lines. you can't have the dragons roasting people and huge battle scenes in every episode

Go back and re-watch all of the episodes, it's only been about a year of time in Westeros. Until now Dany has been a brash, aggressive leader that swoops in, does her justice then leaves in a roar of triumph (and sometimes fire).

As we saw last night with the noble's son and have heard with the reports coming back from the cities she freed, she hasn't put any thought into her actions other than what's happening at the moment and now that lack of forethought is causing her to have to postpone her pursuit of the Iron Throne until she gets her house back in order (she could just continue on but, as we've seen, that's not her way).

GOT is challenging to produce because it has these linear plots, and it's hard to develop multiple plot lines in the same episode. That leaves us with what we had last episode, where Dany has a scene, but we don't progress her plot at all.

IMO, they could have done a better job at writing a scene that develops the plot a tad further to give the viewer something.

But yeah, I agree with OP. I'm getting a bit tired of her scenes this season.

Wait. Let me get this straight. You're complaining about things being drawn out and not seeing every single storyline each week, yet you also want longer seasons? What do you think would happen to the storyline and flow with longer seasons?
