Don't matter. Brandon Harris, Hayden Rettig, and Anthony Jennings.

Have Brandon Harris.

And 2016 LA class is loaded with QBs. Bladrick Veal, Jon Randall Benton, Patterson, etc.

Plus, nobody is even sure if Gibson will be a QB at the next level. I know he says thats what he wants to play, but a lot of people seem to think he projects to WR at the next level.

Gibson reminds me a lot of Terrelle Pryor, but not as polished of a passer at this point. A big, super athletic kid though

Javi's fault and Crowton has been handcuffed by Miles...probably why he's cooling.

Man i dont know about that. Pryoy was 6'5 235lbs out of high school and just physically dominated everyone. And was a QB.

Gibson is 6'4 195lbs. And has only played WR for a year or so. He played WR before moving to QB.

Us dropping isnt a big deal IMO.

I wouldn't mind seeing us offer the kid from New Iberia. I don't like the idea of not getting a QB in every class.

Pellerin? Maybe a late offer. Don't want to waste a scholarship on a QB just to "have one". If the numbers work, I'm okay with it.

It's pretty much guaranteed to be between Auburn, Tennessee and Ohio State in the end.

He has already stated that there is a 90% chance that he is leaving the state of Florida.

I really like him. His highlight film is favorable to Dak Prescott's IMO. He is listed as a dual-threat, but throws down field effortlessly and plays a lot of under-center and play-action. Also looks like a very good all-around athlete who doesn't shy away from contact as a runner. Could potentially contribute at H-Back or S if he gets beat out by a younger QB. Most of his throws are one WR routes but that isn't uncommon at the high school level, and he anticipates his WR coming open fairly well.

I'm sure he's a really good QB, but we have Rettig, Harris, and Jennings already, and I don't think we are desperate for another QB.

you don't wait until you are in a desperate situation before you add another qb. if one of those guys transfer you are scrambling and behind the 8ball for the available guys who have been pressed more from other schools and staffs.

While I would still take Gibson if he came here, I want Franks too. From his video, he looked more like a pro style QB who could scramble. Dude looks like a future Jameis to me. I hope we don't miss out on him.
