Just finished Homeland Season 3 (SPERHLERS!!!!!)

What the hell??? Did anyone give up on this show? Season 4 will basically be a whole new series. I'll keep watching it unless it sucks. My favorite character is Saul, but after that it was Brody. I don't love that he won't be on the show anymore, but Peter Quinn is still a good character on the show. What were the boards thoughts on Brody going out?

Compared to earlier seasons, Brody didn't get a lot of screen time this season. I think the producers were getting us used to the idea of him not being around.

Brody had to go. There was no place for the character to go.

I feel like I won't pick up season 4. I might give it one episode to win me back over, but at this point it has gotten beyond my ability to suspend disbelief. Sucks because season one it was one of the best shows on television.

It's an awesome genre and you sure as hell won't get any good terrorism/intelligence shows on the networks, so I'm holding out hope that the reboot will save the show.
Season 3 actually got slightly more interesting as it progressed, even if it was ridiculous, because you knew it was coming to a turnaround point.
I'm holding out hope for S4, but who knows. I really wish they hadn't made Carrie so crazy. I mean, the subject matter is interesting enough without this twist, which has now totally dominated the show.
