That and getting to tSECT championship game will be the only way we get a host, IMO. Beating auburn won't do that much for RPI.

One thing hosting-wise that could work against #LSU. Committee could easily just throw the Tigers in Lafayette, or the two Houston’s. Easy.

I don't know if would take that much. IMO including the SEC Tourny we need at least 5 more SEC wins to host. And of course some thing depend on what teams around us do too. If Carolina would get swept this weekend for instance they would fall out of the hosting discussion.

Yeah its going to depend on what other teams do around us.
Positive side is we can still win the west and hold alot of where we will finish in our own hands.
Negative side is none of these teams around us seem to be losing. The basketball schools(Uconn, Duke, Mizzou) didnt help us out and SEC will not be getting 5 hosts.

LSU does not deserve to host. A lot of Rantards are going to be upset when the brackets come out.

I won't be unless we were to go like 8-0 or 7-1 the next two weeks and still not get one. I have a feeling they may send us to a Houston regional though and have that one paired up with ULL.

All they have to do is look at the other resumes with the remaining schedules and it becomes apparent.

Yes, LSU can play itself into a host. Im speaking as of right now, at lets be honest going 7-1 or 8-0 would be a surprise to everyone.

Even looking at it geographically..say Cal Poly and Washington dip that would only leave 1 regional out west.
If LSU and OK State host thats potentially 7 hosts in a pretty concentrated area.(TCU, Houston, Rice, ULL, Ole Miss)
I'd bet they would give a host to Liberty to spread it out a bit or give the west a 2nd one.
