It's interesting b/c his recent shows have more and more people showing up knowing all the words to his tunes.. wasn't like that at all last fall.
A couple of guys there drove up from New Jersey just for his set. Chatted with a couple of other folks and they all had the same story: someone told them that if they liked Isbell's "Southeastern" they needed to listen to "In The Throes."
He killed it per usual.

Man. He is so good. One of only 2 shows I've ever been to where you could have heard a pin drop.
