I was hiking three days ago in the mountains and riding my jeep up around 10,000 feet just yesterday.

Just wear your gators! Did you bring any gators?

Where are you? We've had snow every day since I got here Last Wed (w yellowstone) with yesterday being the exception, but not enough to look like that

I may air down the Jeep tires and do some snow 4X4ing. Be the last chance this spring.

Or I may call up a buddy and take advantage of the fresh powder on the back roads. Jeep tubing is a blast.

Western CO. I expected a light dusting. Nothing like this. No way I could get up that trail I was on yesterday (it was a struggle already because of the mud).

It's still falling and expected to most of the day.

Gotcha. The full day of sunshine yesterday dried the ground up some, thankfully. Don't mind the cold or the snow, but I don't want to be wet and in the elements

This was yesterday.

I was planning to hike along the top of that mountain today.

BTW that steam is from an underground coal fire that's been burning over 100 years. Usually it's not humid enough here to see it.

Weather man said the snow would be measured in feet, not inches

There's probably a foot on the roof of my Jeep already.
