I believe that Malachi has the most potential out of any signee from the 2014 class. If the QB play is anywhere near as good as Zach Mettenberger from his senior season while Malachi is playing, he will be just as good if not better than Odell Beckham when it's all said and done. This kids potential is insane!

Here are some videos that really get me excited for not only Malachi but also the upcoming 2014 season!

I know these videos have already been posted but oh well.

He's probably going to be the best WR statically since Reed. He has pro height at 6'3 and after bulking up at LSU he will leave around 200-205 pounds. He runs somewhere in the 4.5 range and is smooth in his running. His vertical and long jump are insane on top of his elite hands. Route running is the key thing he needs to work on considering the offense he played in, in high school.

Plus with Cam as OC and QB coach, he should have a great passer to get him the ball.

He appears to have the tools and the attitude to be great. That said, we really will not know until probably his second or third year on campus for a couple of reasons:

(1) He never played with a top flight QB in high school to showcase his skill set; and
(2) Frankly, it will probably take our QB situation a year or two in order to get back on track - we will struggle throwing the ball this year as compared to last year.

It's funny how people still say this about 5 star recruits who were #1 at their position.

His work ethic, manners humility and demeanor remind me of Patrick Peterson. I think he's going to be a leader through his actions and work just like PP. (LF, JA, and BH have a little of this factor too)

The only question will be production because of qb play, injuries and game plan.

Just my opinion
