Has anyone eaten there recently? I'm curious because it's always been highly recommended on here, in fact I first tried it due to TD and I used to love it when we were going regularly.

Just went back for the first time in a few years this weekend and I was a little disappointed. The food portions were quite a bit smaller than I remember and one of our entrees was botched (étouffée with way undercooked rice). I can understand if it was an off night or if food costs have limited the portions, but are they still on their game?

if the rice was still crunchy, did you mention this to your waiter , waitress ? Pretty sure mgmnt would have made things right

I've eaten at PBR more times than I can remember since the late 80's , and I would have ranked it a top 5 restaurent back in the day. Its still a top 10 place to dine in Laffy yet there a so many other high quality food places to choose from.

not sure the food quality has gone down, but prices have definitely gone up thus making dishes and servings look smaller.

for example, 4-5 yrs ago two people could have dined and eaten like kings for around $75 - $85. Now the same meal will set you back $115 +.

I ate at PBR 2 weeks ago as the food was good, yet not light out incredible.

I ate there a couple of weeks ago. The food was solid. restaurant itself felt very dated. Service was good though. I went around 5:30 on a weekday so it wasnt busy.
