If we go to ULL for regional and beat them...host SR?

Would we get to host the super regional since we came out of a top 8 seed regional? Don't remember how those rules work.

If we put in a bid (which we will) then it would be possible yes regardless of who wins the other bracket. that of course assumes that ULL is a top 8 seed as you indicated.

Only way LSU would host a super is if the 2, 3 , or 4 seed matched in the other regional wins that one.

We will not survive a regional. It will be easier for people here to accept that this team cannot hit and we have one good pitcher.

You really only need one good pitcher to win a regional. Poche is more than good enough to win on Sunday. LSU just needs to find a way to win the 2/3 game on Friday.

I get what you're saying...but this isn't the basketball tourney. Much more weight is put on location that rankings.
If LSU is a 2 they will be at either Rice or UL. I doubt much thought will be given to how high of a 2 LSU is

They could easily send us to a regionalism Houston or to ULLs regional at this point. We are not guaranteed to host.
