I'm in champ flight.
Need to be in A. Haven't had a great spring so far.
Been hurt and changed my whole bag out.
Pretty fun deal.
It's not for poor people I've noticed. Sort of pricey.

Golfweek Am. In C flight on north tour. It replaced travel softball for me. Less of a commitment and get to go to Hilton Head at the end of the year.

Memphis tour is half the size of LA north. Seemed like a good group of guys though. I had fun at The Dogwoods

Flight you champ- D flight based on handicap
Play one tournament month February-sept
Skins game you can participate in if you want.
Real golf. Your score in each tourn dictates your point total.
Top 10 in points in each flight get to go to hilton head for Ryder cup match vs another state in October.
La has north tour and south tour.

Top 10 qualifies for Hilton Head for nationals. Top 5 qualified for lava cup, which is again ya Tidewater VA, but now that's only the North tour. Tidewater won the tour national championship the last 4 years. The South will be playing a similar event vs Michigan at Hilton Head starting this year.

Out of curiosity what's the age range of the players on the LA tour. 20s, 30s, older? I want to join next year maybe

I've noticed all ages.
Like I said it's not a cheap deal, especially if you're already member of a club.

In a monthly golf league and a member at Augusta on the Bayou (Bayou Country Club) would probably be a tough sell to the wife. Sounds fun though!

I just did it to get some extra experience on individual play tourn.
I shot even last yr at our club champ sat round.
Even through 9 Sunday , made two doubles and 4 bogies on last 9.
Hard to practice pressure, you can't.
This is closest thing I've found, out side of a money game we play called drum hammer.
But that's another story.
I'm probably not re upping next year.
I just did it to get some extra experience on individual play tourn.
