Curious if y'all enjoyed the movie or not? My wife who has never even smoked a cigarette hates the movie. I on the other hand have it as one of my favorites all time. Maybe because it came out during my most extensive drug use or because we had three movies in Iraq we watched on my buddies laptop that being one if em. She hates the other two as well fwiw. Haven't had a drug since my military days and still love it.

When I first watched it at 16 I had only smoked pot, but I still enjoyed it. Sometimes it is hard to follow though, even if you're sober.

Saw it once at the theater and thought it was pretty boring. No desire to ever see it again.

First time I watched it, I hated it. Never did a drug besides alcohol and marijuana. Then when I finally tripped, I immediately loved it when I watched it. I just didn't get the mindset.

I was actually drugged once, and had a very similar experience to the reptile zoo scene. A gay dude that despised me drugged me one night at a music fest, and then suddenly all around me, everyone starts turning into orcs and baboons. The terror is simply indescribable, and so bad I literally vomited in terror.

One of my favorites. It's even better if you've read the novel. The script was a great adaption of the novel.

What did he drug you with?

Would have to be a ton of LSD to trip that hard.

There's not a single drug on this planet that could get me to watch that steaming shite fest ever again.

I've never smoked anything beyond a couple cigars here and there, and I thought that movie was hilarious. "Bat Country!"

I've done tons of drugs. That movie was not entertaining.

I drink and have smoked less than 10 joints (last one was 15 years ago (and then 10 years before that).

While I can see why people and critics like the movie, the only thing it did for me was reinforce to me the wise decision I made not to partake in drug use--recreational or otherwise.

Ether isn't as good as portrayed in the movie, but the psychs are.

The movie is far from great but it's entertaining.

And the Nancy Reagan types who just say no....

I watched it for the first time at my cousin's house back in 9th grade, before I ever touched a drug. Its still one of my favorite movies to this day.
