Home Renovation Ideas

I am closing on a home in about a month that is in need of some renovations. In addition to refinishing hardwoods and repainting/removing wallpaper, we are looking at a potential master bath remodel, front porch addition, and maybe some work to the kitchen.
Do y'all have any ideas on some good features to add?

Invest in the flooring. MAKE SURE THE FOUNDATION IS SOLID ON THE HOME AND FOUNDATION WORK IS NOT NEEDED. I only shout that because I just got side-swiped by that. New ceiling fans, light fixtures, and window treatments freshen up a room more than you would think.

Are you buying the house I'm trying to buy out from under me?
Same situation I'm looking at for the most part

Our inspection is tomorrow and we are bringing in a structural engineer in addition to our regular inspector. Hopefully the will be able to sniff out that issue if there is one.

We got really lucky in the flooring department. The downstairs is all good hardwood, just needs refinishing. The upstairs is covered in the ugliest carpet I have ever seen in my life. Before we put in an offer, I peeled up a little of it on the side of one of the bedrooms and found out that everything below the carpet is also hardwood. Big win there.

Never thought of these. They sound like they could make a real difference and not hurt me too badly, price-wise.
