If you don't remember the discussions about Mallet's character issues, you obviously don't follow the draft closely enough for your opinion to be respected.

A diluted test is considered a fail. Mett will be in the substance abuse program his entire career.

oh i remember it well- he got shite on by numerous blogs (pft being one) mainly because of rumors of drug stuff that happened in michigan. his only issue with the law was a bar fight or something along those lines. if you recall mallett was drafted in the same draft that blaine gabbert was and he also had a similar incident yet he was the golden child and sometime between january and april mallett became the sacrificial lamb for the draft that year. i'm not sure how to pinpoint exactly what the prejudice was against him but i have no doubt in my mind that it was partially due to his 'talking like a black guy'.
