Got roped in to taking a carnival cruise for most of my paid time off

It's not the most luxurious thing in the world that's for sure. You can still have a lot of fun though, unless you're too busy worrying about everyone else.

You can have a good time if you lower your expectations (actually yours are pretty god damn low already) , and drink and gamble a lot.

If you are going on one of the cheesy arse 4 or 5 night cruises leaving from Mobile, N.O., or Galveston, then you will be visiting shitty ports and be mostly with trash.
If you go on a 7 night cruise out of south Florida, chances are much better than it will be ok.
