I experienced White Privilege today

Me and the wife went to the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Preserve today and as we entered the welcome center to pay, there was a long line of young black students and their chaperones waiting also. As I started to walk to the back of the line, a young white girl who worked there pulled my wife aside and whispered to her that we didn't have to wait in the long line. She told us to go on the tour and we could pay later when we finished because she trusted us! It's great to be white!

I experience White Privilege once a year at the Eye Doctor. I get my contact lens prescription renewed at a downtown place that mostly services medicaid patients.
I walk in and see about 20 black patients in the waiting room.
I tell the girl: I need new contact lenses.
Her: Sir, do you have an appointment?
Me: No.
Then I pull out my wallet and say "I pay cash."
Her: Sir, the doctor will see you now, please follow me.
