I have no tips for how you like something.
Seriously though, I've never lived in them, but they always seemed nice when I visited people there.

They're not as nice as wca, but they're extremely convenient. However, parking and traffic getting in and out is a nightmare.

Loved living there. Great location obviously, and the dining hall and rec were both within walking distance. Rooms were nice size too. They're pretty much bigger dorms with a kitchen and bathrooms.

I lived there for 2 yrs and enjoyed it. Convenient location to the Rec and Union.

Seemed like everyone pretty much enjoyed them. Thanks for all the feedback!

As others have said, it's a huge upgrade from any of the dorms. It's in a great location. However, the parking sucks and you will get towed if you park illegally. Trust me.

The worst part of living at WCA was how damn far the Rec was from there. I gained about 10 pounds the year I lived there because even when I went there, by the time I got there, I didn't feel like working out. I like the ECA location better.

I lucked out and lived in them my freshman year, granted I got paired with people I didn't know, but I wasn't in a nasty arse dorm room!
I think they all have washer/dryer in the unit (mine did), and I would recommend bringing your own living room furniture if possible (the supplied couch was god aweful). Otherwise, great choice!
(edit): Parking is a bitch tho, since all the kids in the Laville dorms poach the ECA parking lot. Fall semester I would get frustrated and park on the grass next to my apartment, but $200 worth of parking tickets broke me of that habit.

Lived in there for two years. Loved them except for the small beds. They use the same mattresses as the dorms. Obviously you can add a mattress pad/egg crate/Serta for comfort but I'm 6'3" and my feet hang off.
Overall I really enjoyed ECA though. We tore that place up on our last night there a few years ago. Almost flooded the place. Was very surprised we weren't charged for anything by LSU res life.

your money would be better spent renting an apartment off campus imo

I loved living at ECA, parking isn't great but you'll save a ton of time not having to drive onto campus or take a bus. Walking out of your apartment ten minutes before class starts is really nice.
