Could he be this years Cingrani?
Good prospect but not elite coming up around the same time. They are both lefties, though I doubt Ray will have the K's that Cingrani has.
In order for him to stay up an injury would have to occur. Porcello and Smyler have been serviceable 4 and 5 guys.

He may get shipped back down when Sanchez comes back from the DL. But he looked really good in his debut.
