Between Bluebonnet and Airline. Brick oven cooked pizza was awesome! Remember going a lot when I first moved to BR in 2004. Is there a place in BR that still does brick oven cooked pizza?

I HATE Fluer de Lis soggy pizza

I do miss Cirello's. Their pizza was spot on. Chewy but light, crispy in the right places. There really isn't anything close in the area.

Roma is a really good NY style. I love Omar and his flavor combo is cravable.

Mamma Della's is closer in style using an oven that has a stone/brick bottom. Their pie (post TV Makeover) was crispy, light and really good. That may be your best substitute.

Whole foods pie is good, but sometimes too bready and rarely crispy.

LA Pizza Kitchen should be better than it is. I have had it 4 or 5 times over my dozen years in the city and have never left impressed.
