Just wanted to say frick him. Biggest pain in the arse for me the whole game. frick him, but I did finally whoop his arse tonight.

Not only is he a big pain in the arse you lose a human effigy evertime you die actually you lose 2 effigys if you don't want to be hollow.

First two times I fought him, I killed him but he hit me with those homing soul spears and killed me at the same time. Finally managed to sprint around those spears the third time.

Lightening spears make it a joke. But yeah, it's a nightmare for a strictly melee builds.

Yes, yes it is. Supposedly, if you hit him hard enough when he is splitting, you can stop the split. Never could pull that off.

What makes it bullshite is the camera. It's difficult to keep both of them in sight when they split, so you're literally running around like a chicken with its head cut off. The ludicrous hitbox on its magic sword attack is obnoxious, as well. Just an un fun boss in general.

Lucky bastard once you get him to half health he splits, and you will have one asshat firing a homing soulmass with the other shooting dark magic at you.
