How many of y'all have been out picking dewberries?

They are coming in heavy all over right about now




Great fun if you have kids or just enjoy the outdoors. Check the fence lines on the interstate if you don't have any by your house.

I picked out a couple of dingleberries early. Crazy how the hair gets in the way.

Birds love those things, which mean GDCK's love to hang out among the vines waiting for a bird to come along.

As much as they inhabit other cool dark places with food...yes.
I've been picking berries since I could walk and I've NEVER seen a snake in a berry bush though.
