Ain't It Cool News says their sources are telling them that the title refers to the villain played by Max Von Sydow.

I know they are saying it will be nothing from the EU (because they threw that out the window) but Ancient Fear sounds like some Exar Kun. Who is basically a human Death Star without a big fricking laser.

After the abomination that was the prequels, I can't muster up one bit of give a shite about anything from that bastard George Lucas.
I fully expect it to pander to fan-boys while exploiting every childish fart joke, cliche, trope, and overblown special effect he can. The prequels plus the Indiana Jones movie that I refuse to acknowledge even exists have scarred me for life.

I have not been impressed with the new Star Treks at all. They are slick and pretty but lack substance. I can't put my finger on it, but I found myself bored by what seemed like it was a decent enough story.

I haven't seen the second Trek movie, but the first one was really impressive. I'm just worried because Star Wars. I felt so beaten and abused by the first two prequels and the last Indy movie that I'm just afraid of being hurt like that again.

I am remaining cautiously optimistic about the movies. I personally have more faith at this point with Abrams directing than Lucas.

They can name it Episode 7: We Want Your $$ and i'll probably still go see it at least twice.
