I'm not sure any of the songs are "easy," but if you can play Black acoustic and sing it, I would think that you would be pretty much a pied piper of poon.

Yep.

Looking for something to strum more than pick. Since Travis picking is not so simple.

Yeah, if you're not playing Daughter in the open tuning, the really close "cheat" chords are basically G-Csus over and over, with Em-A7 mixed in

THIS! It's not really a PJ song, but they do it well.

It is just the same four chords over and over.

Black is very easy.

Alive isn't too bad if you omit the solo or fake your way through it.

I would say daughter.

Hardest part is learning the strumming and even that isn't too difficult.

I have never been able to get daughter to sound right. Ledbetter Heights is just three chords although the solo might take some work.

Daughter is G-G4 and the refrain is Em7-Em6. Solo is easy too once you learn it.

Quite a few PJ songs that are easy if you are just strumming an acoustic.

Black
Daughter
Last Kiss
Betterman
Etc

I'm not a guitarist, but if I was... I would dedicate my life to learning the opening to Yellow Ledbetter.
