Looking for a good restaurant or two in the Daphne and Fairhope area. No white table cloth types - just going to be me and my kid visiting for a tournament.

The Wash House is good, but likely not what you're looking for.

I like Papa's Place in Daphne. Italian place not too far from I-10 on Hwy. 98.

Daphne
Moe's BBQ (one of my favorite places of all time)
Cousin Vinny's
Manci's (great burgers and has one of the largest collections of liquor decanters in the world)
Rosie's
Eastern Shore Cafe (breakfast/brunch)
Smokehouse Cafe
Lenny's (The greatest fast food sandwich you can get)

Fairhope
Panini Pete's
Old 27 Grill (probably my favorite in Fairhope)
Tamara's (not the fine dining one)
Master Joe's
Ravenite (not sure if it's still open)

Guido's in Daphne is pretty good.
Pinzone's in downtown Fairhope is good. Pretty solid pizzas
Wintzell's Oyster House
Tamara's
Wash House.

The latter two are probably way more upscale than you would want with a kid.
