Do you view it at "cheating" or legit way to catch fish?

Absolutely legit and agree that it's a lot of fun. I don't know if they're more efficient but I prefer yoyos b/c I think they're more fun. Used to go out and set yoyos in the evening and then ride around the lake to shine a spotlight on em all night.

Depends on the setting to me. But running jugs is a favorite past time of mine as well.

Yo-yo'ing was the only way I fished during the 90's.

What kind of jackass says it's cheating? I go fishing to catch dinner. Anything that helps and is at least borderline arguably legal is a fair method.

Fun as shite. It's more work than "real" fishing. Just more beer drinking and bs'ing.

For a few fish, yo yos

For a few more then the norm, jugging

For a shite load over a few days, trotlines, 300-400 hooks and that gets to be work.

Completely legit. I learned to paddle a boat running trot lines with my dad. Some of the most fond memories if my life were running trot lines with my old man.
