This guy does have some good stuff. Whenever I find him on TV, I rarely change the channel much for the inevitable chuckles and laugh I know I'll get.

Obama was funny. He is definitely good at these type of functions.

Surprisingly good stand up. Saw him at the Mandalay Bay a couple of years ago. Very good.

I love McHale and haven't watched him tonight, but all the press I've read is that he bombed. Hard.

I'm glad you liked it. I thought it was weak. If I was Obama, I would rather sit at home and watch a rerun of 'You Bet Your Life.'

That was funny. The Chris Christie jokes where brutal and the Chris Hayes lesbian reference made me lol.

I liked his line about whether Bill Clinton should be able to pass out cigars after Chelsea's baby is born. What do you get? "Bad Grandpa 2"

Good one.

I thought it was terrible.

One of his first jokes about the Obamas being another black family relying on the government to have a home to live in was funny.

The rest was pretty bad. McHale seems to need that ridiculous clip prior to delivery a final blow. He's not good with setting up the punches.

He was pretty bad IMO. Definitely below average. And the audience agreed, judging by their reactions (or lack thereof).

Like McHale, but I'd give him a C at best.

The Joke about how Paul Ryan would refer to Obama as another inner city male reliant on government to feed and house his family was great, but it was all downhill after that.

Obama did pretty well. I thought McHale had more cringe-worthy moments than laugh-out-loud ones. There is such a thing as too biting--even in comedy.

I am disappoint that it took 11 replies to get this.

I like McHale and haven't watched many of the recent dinners, so maybe I'm biased.

His dig on CNN still searching for their table was pretty funny.

Obama's dig on CNN that he had to schedule a trip to Malaysia just to be on CNN was funny.

The cutaway of Wolf Blitzer showed little amusement on their part.
