Would use as a casting platform as well possibly.

Probably a 65. I have a 75 that fits under a leaning post but it's probably too big to go up front.

Is a 65 big enough for fish?

That's hard to say. Couple limits of specks shouldn't be a problem, but I wouldn't want that to be the only fish box on the boat.

My 125 is perfect for a casting platform. Would not want to go smaller for that purpose.

LA=K2 >> TX=Yeti

If you just want something to stay cold for a week, Coleman Xtreme is the way to go. If you are gonna use it as a casting platform, K2, Yeti, Pelican, Engel, etc

I'm not sure what kind of deals you could get on a K2, but just tell them you are gonna be on a TV show and they might give you a free one. Seems like every one I see on Swamp People, Axe Men, Duck Dynasty had a K2 now

Eta: How do you secure it as a casting platform? Add cleats and strap it down?

^^

I have three yetis and I use my 65 the most. I have tie downs on the bow of my boat to use it as a sight fishing platform, and I use it as a trout box if me and one other person are fishing. If you fish with 3-4 people and catch good numbers or good sized trout, get a bigger cooler. This is it with four man limit of ducks:

So true. It's hell if you have it loaded and have to move it. It does it's job though.
