Just received a decent raise from my boss. Was wondering what is a good way to show my appreciation? I know the best way to show my gratitude is to continue to work hard on a daily basis, but just wondering if a card or something was necessary. TIA

Not needed. That's like thanking someone for thanking you. The raise was a thank you for your work

Tell him you really appreciate it and you're a lot closer to where you feel you should be salary wise now. Then tell him you like working here and would hate to have to leave.

If anything just a simple thank you next time yall are talking. No need for a letter or anything IMO, unless it was a dramatic increase or something

No. I was just talking with other bosses today who, like me, give employees bonuses. It is always appreciated when the employee makes an effort to say thanks for the bonus. It doesn't have to be a lot, just stick your head in his door and say "thanks for the bonus!" Nothing bad can come from this.
