I'm officially done with Stroube's

After all of the menu changes I have experienced first hand, ordering one thing and the next time I go, it's been changed. For instance, the fried green tomatoes has changed a lot of times. It went from shrimp included to crabmeat to just tomatoes. The bread pudding has changed several times also. But this week took the cake for me. The only good thing left is their Tuesday meatloaf special. This past Tuesday, I called in a to go order for the meatloaf special and I was told that the meatloaf is now a pork cutlet. Huh?!? It still says meatloaf special on the website. What the hell. I'm officially done.

I'm not going to argue your problems but I'll agree with your point. It's like I said in the Piccadilly thread without the history. A shell of itself. I was a fan. Now I'm not.

Most restaurants worth their weight change their menus regularly for many reasons, be it seasonal products, fresh product, etc. This has the opposite effects on me. It makes me want to frequent the place more.

We went in November and I was not impressed. The food quality had gone down a lot from the peak and it appears that I caught it before the bottom...
