What do we need to host regional?
Are we in the tournament even if we perform bad from now on?

We will be in a regional batting a total collapse. We should host as long as we finish in the top 4 of the SEC.

why do people keep asking these questions?
we were a 14 RPI coming into today. We'd have to lose at 2/3rds rate for the rest of the season to even possibly miss the post season

There's no way LSU plays in the post season this year. We lost to aTm today. That's all it takes to be eliminated from the post season.

We need at least 4 of our final 7 in the SEC to host a regional. Anything less won't cut it.

I tend to agree, but I think if we win the west we get a super no matter the w/l record...OR 2nd in the west by 1/2 game and a tournament title. CPM excells in SEC tourny, but usually he has deeper pitching. At least a true 3rd day starter. IMO, no super = no Omaha

I love when people assume that the 8-16 regional hosts wont host a super regional
