Benatia has been unusually straightforward in stating his desire to stay at Roma long term . . . Says he hand picked Roma over other options last year and Garcia plus the success has only strengthened his resolve to stay.

You never know with our DS Sabatini as he's a real gunslinger when it comes to the market but I think Benatia's the most unlikely player aside from Totti to move.

Chelsea should have sold Hazard to United and kept Mata. Would have worked out better for both parties.

Man, that would've been sick. But Hazard's gonna stay.

United need all the midfielders. And a few defenders too. But looks like Woodward is going all in on Cavani because, you know, we can always use another high-paid striker.

Cavani

Considering his transfer price of last summer and seeing him a few times this year, I STILL don´t see what everybody sees in him.

So glad we dodged that bullet though looks like we are about to get hit by an even bigger one.

Everton Targets:

1. Lukaku (Priority #1)

2. Remy/Bony/Drdic/Welbeck (1 of these if we can't secure Lukaku)

3. Deulofeu is apparently close to being locked in for 1 more season from Barca

4. Gareth Barry on a permanent

5. Demba Ba

6. Jack Rodwell (Again)

7. Mo Diame

8. Lewis Holtby (he grew up as a blues supporter and has been linked to us and Villa)

9. Dusan Tadic (Long shot)

10. Igor Akinfeev

These are some of the players I have seen Everton linked to, but we may lean heavily on primarily targeting players who are finishing up contracts though.

Did Bhoy get banned again? I haven't seen his usual count-ness around here in quite some time.

Just to be clear in case it wasn't already, that was not a complaint.

Yes keep an endless cycle going of irresponsible ownership of teams spending more than their needs.

This shite can make a club be awful for years. Look at Leeds or FCK in germany.

Cavani hasn't had a bad year, especially since PSG moved him to the right side.

Really though, I read Bayern is interested in Laporte from Bilbao, of the French Basque lands. He's still young but I think the plan would be to buy but loan him back to Bilbao for a year or two.

Saw a note mentioned that Chelsea has been in contact with Roma regarding Lukaku on a possible loan deal. Can't remember the source though...I do know that it wasn't Goal.com.

Stop talking about FFP in this thread.

Also, it would be nice if people include the reality of the transfer happened. Don't just write Costa to Chelsea. Back it up with a source even if the source is goal.com, so then we know it is goal.com and what they are claiming.

There's a report saying that if United hire van Gaal, Mueller will request a transfer there.

Real Madrid supposedly has Granada´s Siqueira (currently on loan to Benfica) tied up, and Zidane has been putting the screws to Paul Pogba.

Zidane is rumored to leave for Girondins de Bordeaux, by the way.
